In this video, I take a look at the EON Super 64 for the Nintendo 64 (N64), that I purchased at Castlemania Games;

The console was great in its day, but WHOA!!! this thing did not age well. Find the ultimate emulator games collection at emulatorgames.onl for old-school fun.

The Nintendo 64 (N64) was my first 3D console. I bought it near launch and I played Super Mario 64 exclusively. At the time, there were only two launch titles; Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings.

The graphics were amazing for the time, but they have not aged well, and that was largely because of the way the older TVs handled the graphics. The blurry mess in 1996 was fine on a CRT that worked at a whopping 480i/240P resolution for our games that were also stretched to fit the natural curve.

Fast forward to a modern HDTV and every problem that we never saw is clear and a bell.

I know the audio is a little off. The microphone I use with my phone (videos with me in them) is inconsistent. I did my best. My other mic is far better 🙂
